Pressing your wedding bouquet is a fantastic alternative to freeze-drying as it allows you to preserve your favorite blooms to display in a myriad of unique ways. And while layering petals between parchment paper and the pages of a heavy book will certainly do the trick, our process involves placing flowers in presses that go through a freeze-drying process. By doing so, the end product is a much better quality flower to work with that retains shape and color better than traditional pressing and air-drying. The finished pieces are displayed on a fabric background behind glass. No glue is involved in this process which is critically important to note as glue will show through pressed petals as flowers age. Pressed wedding bouquets truly do become works of art when they are finished. For more examples, check out the link below to our Instagram: ctflowergirl.
